About the event
Join us for Last Holiday (2006) starring Queen Latifah! Told she has only weeks to live, a shy department store employee breaks out of her shell after she blows her savings on a luxurious European vacation. A beloved classic Black holiday film!
Throughout the year MICA hosts Throwback Thursday movie nights at The Unity Center for folks to gather in a cozy space and enjoy classic movies tied to our various cultural communities or identities. Whether it's a comfort film from your childhood or new-to-you classic of the '80s, these throwback films offer us a quiet getaway from the daily noise of college life to relax in good company. Have a movie to suggest? DM us @umdMICA on instagram or email us at mica-office@umd.edu
